Dr. Mahadevan is a Duke Integrative Healthcare Leader and an Ayurvedic Health and Nutrition consultant who graduated from the AADP-Accredited Ayurvedic Nutrition Study Program. He is also certified as a Yoga Teacher by Yoga Alliance International.
Besides holding a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Minnesota, he has done post-doctoral research at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Foundation. During those years, he also pursued a Master’s in Science & Technology Entrepreneurship at the Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead School of Management.
In 2005, Dr. M joined a startup as part of the senior management team and helped grow the company to over 650 people globally where he currently serves as an Executive Vice President. In addition to entrepreneurship, he is interested in sustainable grassroots development activities, and served as the President of the Minnesota chapter of the Association for India’s Development (AID), a non-profit.
Dr. M spend 4 years in India on sabbatical as the CEO and Managing Director of the Institute of Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine (I-AIM) and Professor & Dean, School of Health Sciences, Transdisciplinary University (TDU). Apart from advising and mentoring various clinical and research faculty, he served as a member of the University Board of Management, Scientific Advisory Board, Academic Council, Graduate Committee and Institutional Ethics Committee. Dr. M has also recently helped Isha Foundation set up an Integrative Healthcare Centre in India.
